Many donors have chosen to establish scholarships at Nazarene Theological Seminary. These scholarships have been funded through gifts, matching funds, donations from family, friends, churches, and/or organizations.

Susan and her husband Dr. Jesse Middendorf, General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene, have been married for 43 years. They have 3 children: Jon, Marlo and Jim; and 4 grandchildren: Taylor, Drew, Kennedy and Shelby.

Effective July 1, 2007, Dr. Darius Salter will leave the halls of NTS to return to the local church—Richardson (TX) First church of the Nazarene—as Pastor.

Josh and Nell Sweeden graduated from NTS this past May, both with Master of Divinity Degrees.  Both have been accepted to Boston University Th.D. programs and will begin doctoral work there in the fall.

Just over 12 years ago, I visited NTS for the first time.  At the time, there were three things I knew…God was preparing me for ministry, the preparation was to begin at NTS, and I had no idea how God would use me after I graduated.

Rev. Corey MacPherson ('00) and his wife Edie planted the Long Island North Shore Church of the Nazarene on the Metro New York district and continue to serve there as pastors.  Corey and Edie are pictured here with their daughter Catherine Grace (age 6) and son Logan Wesley (age 2).
