MERRIAM CHRISTIAN CHURCH, DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, is a family of God that has been using the Bible as its guide for Christian faith and living for 95 years.
Guided by the Holy Spirit, we are currently seeking
AN INTERN who wants the opportunity to share and grow in their faith by taking
A LEADERSHIP ROLE AT MERRIAM CHRISTIAN CHURCH.
You would be responsible for seeking and implementing, with guidance from the Senior Minister and Church Board, new programs and worship experiences in the church.
EXAMPLES MAY INCLUDE: SHEPHERD A YOUTH PROGRAM, POSSIBLY BEGINNING AND LEADING A SATURDAY WORHIP SERVICE, AS WELL AS SERVICE/MISSION PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY.
The above ideas are just examples, and this is an Internship where flexibility is crucial. An ideal candidate would be someone with a close relationship with God, who has a sound prayer life, patience, and able to call on His Spirit; Then listen and follow God's will.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love
God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:26
